At a meeting in this city as part of a visit that Moncada is making with a Nicaraguan delegation, Al Malki thanked the authorities of the Sandinista government for their presence.
He pointed out that Nicaragua is the first government to visit Palestine to support and show solidarity with this people in the face of the current situation, explaining that this is an example of the historic relationship of brotherhood and brotherhood between both nations.
He explained that daily incursions into the West Bank by armed settlers and Israeli occupation forces were increasing, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of illegal detentions.
In this sense, he added that Israel intends to forcibly expel and exterminate the Palestinian people in order to destroy their independent, free and sovereign state.
He stressed that the political solution to end the current situation must be based on negotiations between Palestine and Israel until the recognition of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.
For his part, the head of Nicaraguan diplomacy, after sending greetings from President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosarios Murillo, expressed solidarity with the families of the victims of the conflict and reiterated his support for the Palestinian cause.
Also present at the meeting were Ministerial Adviser to the President for Politics and International Relations, Orlando Tardencilla, and Member of the Executive Board of the National Assembly (Parliament), Wilfredo Navarro.
Nicaraguan Ambassador to Palestine Roberto Morales Hernández and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine were also present.
The Nicaraguan Foreign Minister’s program includes meetings with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shatyyeh and President Mahmoud Abbas.
