Several Israeli citizens and soldiers have reportedly been captured due to the infiltration of Palestine-allied pro-Hamas militants into Hebrew territory, according to images circulating on social networks.

The clips, described by the European Union as “horrific,” show street wars and kidnappings in border regions of the Gaza Strip.
According to an Israeli army spokesman, Hamas has captured “hostages and prisoners of war” since the start of its surprise attack.
“There are also deaths within the armed forces. We don’t have exact numbers. We are at war,” Daniel Hagari said in an interview with CNN.
In Sderot, in the south of the country, an AFP journalist saw the bodies of at least eight civilians lying in the street.
More than 5,000 rockets were fired from Gaza at the Jewish state, causing damage in several cities, including Ashkelon on the Mediterranean.
