Anaheim Ducks head coach Greg Cronin is forced to open his wallet because of what the National Hockey League deemed unprofessional behavior during a game on Monday.
On Friday, the Bettman circuit fined the driver $25,000 for his behavior during the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Cronin yelled at the referees after they denied the Ducks a goal due to contact with the goalie late in the second period.

The 60-year-old’s actions resulted in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and Cronin was sent off moments later. Thanks to a late goal from Mason McTavish, Anaheim was still able to come back from a deficit in the third period and win 4-3.
The Ducks will face the Penguins again on Tuesday, following their Sunday clash against the Vegas Golden Knights.
