Next Tuesday, temperatures of over 16 degrees are expected in the south of the province. Forecast.
Favorable context
The beginning of March will be characterized by mildness. In general, temperatures well above average are expected. A mountain ridge will blow mild air across the province for at least the first half of the month. This will be the case in Montreal next Tuesday, as the thermometer is expected to exceed 16 degrees.
Early spring
On Tuesday, temperatures could range between 10 and 20 degrees in several areas of the province, particularly in the south of the province. With temperatures like this it will feel like winter is finally behind us. However, we will have to wait a little longer to win over the winter season, as storms and flashovers are still possible until April.
The hottest day of winter
These 16 degrees will be the hottest of the season as we are still in winter according to the astronomical seasons. In fact, Montreal hasn't experienced temperatures like this since October. To achieve a similar temperature you have to go back to October 28th. It was 20.6 degrees that day.
