Since September 14 last year, Exposur 2023 has included companies from Germany, Canada, China, Spain, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Yemen, the United States, Brazil and Jamaica, presenting their goods and services on the main exchange. Joaquín Alonso Vázquez, Prime Minister of the Central Bank of Cuba, recognized the usefulness of such quotes both for state-owned companies and for the various economic modalities of the private sector.

“Due to the relationships between local producers and businessmen and those from other provinces, it is very beneficial to involve foreign companies with supplies and possible production chains as well as export opportunities,” Alonso said.

For her part, Mayra Arevich Marín, Minister of Communications, explained that Exposur 2023 is a great opportunity to see projects that contribute to the National Development Plan until 2030, with initiatives that will do a lot for the province and the region.

The main prize at Exposur 2023 went to Tecnoazúcar; The best stands went to Citrisur; The Product Quality Award was presented by Agua de Tocador S&C for the 500 Years of Havana by Suchel, and the Communication Award was presented by the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos, SA.

The fundamental objective of the Exposur 2023 International Fair was to promote Cienfuegos as a destination for long-term travelers, direct foreign investment in the territory and the export of high added value products.
