The Israeli army announces that it has found terrorist weapons in the largest hospital in Gaza
The Israeli army entered the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip this Wednesday (15). Soldiers found Hamas weapons and uniforms hidden in the building. The World Health Organization (WHO) says it has lost contact with health professionals working there.
Soldiers carried out socalled precision operations with specific targets at Gaza’s largest hospital on Wednesday Al Shifa.
Images released by the Hamas Ministry of Health show doctors rushing through smoke to fetch patients. However, according to the Portal news agency, they were recorded at least a day before the Israeli invasion.

A doctor said that the Israeli military had informed hospital management about the operation and that doctors and patients had been frightened by the gunfire and that there were tanks outside.
World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom said the military invasion of the hospital was unacceptable.
“Hospitals are not battlefields,” he said.

UN emergency relief director Martin Griffiths said he was appalled by the operation but also condemned Hamas for using the hospital as a hideout.
The Israeli army released images of soldiers bringing medical supplies and equipment such as incubators to Al Shifa, and later showed weapons hidden in the hospital’s MRI center.
The military spokesman said there was a Hamas command center at the hospital and Hamas uniforms were found on the floor, which may indicate that the terrorists fled the scene in civilian clothes.

This Wednesday (15), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was at a military base on the border with the Gaza Strip and said that there was no place in Gaza that Israel would not reach, including AlShifa Hospital.
The United Nations released a tenpoint plan on Wednesday to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. This includes the opening of new checkpoints to make it easier for trucks carrying aid supplies to enter the country, as the only point currently functioning for this is the point on the border with Egypt.
For the first time since the start of the war, Israel allowed fuel to enter the Gaza Strip across the border with Egypt.

This Wednesday, the wife of the Israeli Prime Minister said in a letter to the First Lady of the United States that a pregnant hostage in captivity gave birth to her child.
During the march, the grandmother said she came to ask about her 13yearold granddaughter, Gali.
“We need her home now. It’s not tomorrow, it’s not the day after tomorrow, it’s now,” she says.
