For the Israel Defense Forces claim to have eliminated this Monday, the 13th, Yakub Ashur, head of the antitank system of the Hamas Khan Yunis brigade.
Ashur was involved in “directing and directing attacks against IDF forces,” military spokesman Daniel Hagari said.
The Israeli military also confirmed the death of Mohammad Hamis Dababash, a Hamas veteran who served as the terror group’s military intelligence chief.
“For the past two years, Dababash served as secretary for national relations in Hamas’s political office and as the terrorist group’s representative at the meeting of national and Islamic factions in the Gaza Strip,” the spokesman said.
“He was involved in directing the attack on the settlement of Atzmona in March 2002, in which five Israelis were murdered,” he added.
