The Toronto Maple Leafs have brought character to their team by signing fiery forward Tyler Bertuzzi to a one-year deal.
In the next campaign, he will receive $5.5 million.

The 28-year-old forward switched from the Detroit Red Wings to the Boston Bruins before the trade deadline expired. To maintain his services, the Bruins had to forego a first-round pick in 2024 and a fourth-round pick in the 2025 auction.
Todd Bertuzzi’s nephew is obviously a master at disrupting opponents.
Bertuzzi was playing the final season of a two-year contract that earned him $4.75 million per season. In 50 games last season, he scored 30 points, including eight goals.
During the pandemic-struck 2021-2022 season, he had also refused to be vaccinated and was unable to play games in Canada.
