Mega Legacy win for an 18 year old competitor. It’s about Christian, a boy from Grottammare in the province of Ascoli Piceno and student at the Rosetti Scientific High School in San Benedetto del Tronto. In the episode of the show that aired yesterday, the young man won 85 thousand euros to the delight of the conductor Flavio Insina and everyone in the studio.

The win came after Christian guessed the word in the “guillotine,” the final stage of Rai 1’s game show. Beginning with the words “Volare,” “Giro,” “Medioevo,” “Tacco,” and “Livello,” the student wrote “Basso” on the card in response, immediately revealing, “It was the word medieval that gave me intuition.” There was, which I hope is correct, because there was the Lower Middle Ages and there was the High Middle Ages.” After waiting a few minutes, the result was clear: the participant’s answer was exactly right. The young man dedicated the victory to his grandmother, a big fan of the show: “This is for you, grandma!”

However, the 18-year-old is not the first winner from the Marche region. Last December, in fact, two more very young girls from the Marche had won in prime time. These were the sisters Maria Vittoria and Benedetta Ballirano from Ancona, born in 1996 and 2000 respectively. However, the show in question was not Legacy, but Soliti Ignoti, the show hosted by Amadeus on Rai 1 . The two competitors had managed to take home good 188 thousand euros.
