The production was part of part 3 of the series with the star Omar Si in Nanterre, France on the outskirts of Paris, when 20 masked men robbed the set by Diversity.

The thieves stormed the set after firing mortar fireworks in the area, although a statement from Netflix confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

“There was an incident on February 25 during the filming of Lupin’s upcoming season. “Our cast and crew are safe and no one was injured,” the statement said.

Filming for the Netflix series was suspended for several days before production resumed on Monday, February 28.

Authorities in Nanterre have launched an investigation into the robbery, but did not specify what was stolen during the incident.

Just one day earlier, on February 24, thieves broke into three trucks in Yorkshire, UK, which were parked near the shooting location, although the production was not affected by the accident.

The thieves stole approximately $ 200,000 worth of gems, silverware and antiques, including a replica of a rare Faberge egg owned by George V, the grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II, in 1933.
