“The Mammouth Evening 2023”: Karl Tremblay, Phil Roy and Catherine Fournier get a nomination

Singer and leader of the Cowboys Fringants Karl Tremblay, Longueuil mayor Catherine Fournier and comedian Phil Roy are all three nominated The mammoth evening 2023.

For more than 25 years, Karl Tremblay has electrified his audiences and transformed every concert by his group into a festive and unifying event. Despite being treated for cancer, he continued to courageously host shows and move his audiences. This was particularly the case on the Plains of Abraham last July, when more than 90,000 people cheered his presence during a historic concert.

Singer Karl Tremblay is nominated for “La soiree Mammouth 2023” because he has shaken up and moved his audience despite his illness.

Longueuil Mayor Catherine Fournier stepped out of the shadows earlier this year and encouraged other sexual assault victims to report. A few months after the conviction of her former colleague who had attacked her, the politician decided to lift the publication ban that prohibited the media from publishing her name and was then able to tell about her experiences in a documentary.

Comedian Phil Roy recently took a documentary approach to understanding how body obsession can become the cause of mental health issues like eating disorders.
