A command post has been set up in the Saint-Zotique sector, making it possible to locate a 26-year-old young man who has been missing since Saturday morning.
According to the authorities, the man is said to have left his apartment by bicycle around 6.30 a.m. on Saturday. He could have been in the Montreal area during the day and could still be there.
The SQ urges the people of Saint-Zotique to keep their eyes open and remain vigilant. Those close to the young man fear for his health and safety due to known health issues, according to a statement.

A large-scale police operation was underway on Saturday to find the man as quickly as possible. In particular, a command post was set up and teams specializing in high-risk enforced disappearances were actively involved in the investigation.
“We are trying to find the man as soon as possible,” said SQ spokesman Nicolas Scholtus.
The young man is 1.80 m tall and weighs 70 kg. He has brown hair and blue eyes. When he disappeared, he was wearing a red hoodie, white shorts and “Crocs” shoes.
