The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer finds the title character returning to Mandalore

More than two years after the dramatic finale of The Mandalorian Season 2, Disney has released the new Season 3 trailer, debuting March 1st on Disney Plus.

Pedro Pascal returns as the title character, and Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryzee also confirmed her return after debuting the new Grogu poster this morning.

Season three will continue the adventures of Pascal’s title character and young Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, with Mando revealing that he’s returning to his home planet of Mandalore to clear his name.

The trailer with Mando says: “Our people are scattered like stars in the galaxies. What are we? What do we stand for?’

We see Mando emerging from a group of several other Mandalorians – bounty hunters who live under a strict code.

Mando and Grogu land their ship and reunite with Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) before he reveals his plans for this season.

“I’m going to Mandalore to be forgiven for my transgressions,” he says as his ship takes off as Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) yells, “May the force be with you!”

“This is the way,” Mando adds, while Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) tells Mando, “Something dangerous is happening out there, and when it gets big enough for you to act, it will be.” late.’

The trailer shows a number of Jedi Knights getting ready for battle along with a number of exciting dogfight scenes as well as another exciting shot of a number of Mandalorians disembarking from a ship.

It seems clear that Grogu is bolstering his Jedi powers when a large creature approaches his lair, but he hurls it out of the way with The Force as the trailer draws to a close.

The show debuted in 2019 and is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, the final film in the original Star Wars trilogy.

The second season ended with quite a surprise for fans – an aging Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker.

Although it’s unclear if Hamill will return for Season 3, in December 2020, shortly after the episode aired, he tweeted that he’d been on the secret for over a year.
