Marvel superheroes Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani deal with a difficult situation on an alien planet in the deleted scene from “The Marvels.”

So The Marvels didn't have much success at the box office, but you can't keep a trio of female superheroes down.

The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure arrives on digital platforms on January 16th and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on February 13th. (The film will be available for streaming on Disney+ at some point later.) “The Marvels” features the return of “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson as the powerful Carol Danvers, whose abilities clash with teenage New Jersey heroine Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani ) are linked. and astronaut Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), leading to the three joining forces to face a new cosmic threat.

Bonus features on the home release of “The Marvels” include behind-the-scenes clips, a gag reel, an audio commentary from director Nia DaCosta (“Candyman”) and special effects supervisor Tara DeMarco, and five deleted scenes.

USATODAY.com has the exclusive debut of a never-before-seen sequence: The three heroes try to find a solution to their villainous problem and end up on the colorful alien planet Aladna – where everyone communicates through song and Carol is apparently a princess.

While Monica reports to her space team and Carol warns Prince Yan (Park Seo-joon) of evil shenanigans coming his way, Kamala uses a lull in the action as a chance to upgrade her wardrobe and longs for a weaponized accessory. The caveat: She has to sing for her “whip scarf.”
