It is a disturbing event that took place at the Estérel in the Laurentians on Friday afternoon.

A shootout broke out in the parking lot of the Esterel Resort hotel complex, in which at least one person was injured.
The mayor of the community, Frank Pappas, met with the journalists late in the afternoon to take stock.
He said he saw videos of the scene. The person concerned was reportedly seen on the sidewalk near the hotel car park. She would be embarked in a car that would have departed shortly thereafter.
Minutes later, she was reportedly spotted on another video running towards the hotel reception.
He claims the Sûreté du Québec confirmed to him that the injured person is in fact Mr. Valeriy Tarasenko, who is a close friend and former business partner of Inna Yashchyshyn, a con artist who had infiltrated Donald Trump’s entourage. He would have been the target of gunfire.
Although the name sounds familiar to Mr. Pappas, he cannot confirm that he lives in Estérel. However, women with the same surname own dwellings in the community.

Mr. Pappas is trying to calm the population down.
“It’s important to know that it’s not a shooter who’s attacking someone,” Mr Pappas said. However, the motives behind this shooting were not explained.
According to the mayor, hotel guests have nothing to fear. The victim wasn’t a hotel guest. The man had just parked his vehicle there.
He also ensures that the operation of the hotel operations runs normally.
