The 2024 Met Gala theme was announced on Wednesday, November 8th.
The theme of the next evening, which is organized by fashion queen Anna Wintour, has been decided. The exhibition, titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” runs from May 10 to September 2, 2024 and will open to the public after the Met Gala on May 6, 2024.
Vogue magazine reported that around 250 pieces from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection will be presented in a “completely new” way. These include a 17th-century English bodice and Elsa Schiaparelli’s famous lobster dress, designed by Salvador Dalí.

The names of the gala’s official co-chairs have not yet been announced. Last year Roger Federer, Dua Lipa, Penélope Cruz and Michaela Coel shared the task.
