The manufacturer Continental Bakeries -Granco Sa, based in Enghien in Belgium, has ordered the recall of batches R22159A and R22160A with a due date of 9-10/6/2023. “Return them to the point of sale for a replacement or refund.”
Another recall on the Salute.gov website following the Sapori di Cascina premium cooked ham due to a microbiological risk: Some batches of Carrefour Bio Giant Rice Cakes have been withdrawn from the market due to a chemical risk. The offending packs of 200 grams had a “possible presence of mycotoxins”. On the website, the publication date of the RFP is October 20, 2022, while on the actual recall notice, the effective date of the controls is October 19, 2022.

The document explains that “only the consumption of large amounts of foods containing mycotoxins can lead to health problems”. The notice reads: “Consumers who have purchased packaging belonging to the indicated batches are asked not to consume the product and to return them to the point of sale for an exchange or refund”.
