Rather than brushing off the mistake, the Ted Lasso star corrected Laverne, telling her: “Waddingham. Let's get this right now.”
“Tell me, say it again,” Cox begged her, before mimicking Waddingham's English accent and adding, “I love you so much.”
Waddingham is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her role as team owner Rebecca Welton in the third season of Ted Lasso.
