The most popular destinations were once again selected from Tripadvisor's “Best of the Best” list. There are just a few surprises.

The travel platform Tripadvisor has once again published the “Best of the Best” travel destinations. Millions of traveler reviews have been analyzed. “Best of the Best” only includes all travel destinations whose hotels, restaurants and activities have received excellent reviews. But be careful: if you want to avoid tourist crowds on vacation, this is probably the wrong place for you. Top 10 highest-rated travel destinations at a glance:

10th place: Hoi An

The city on the central Vietnamese coast was one of the most important commercial ports in Southeast Asia in the 15th to 19th centuries.
