Last week, the streaming giant expanded its offering to include a biographical feature film about the life of renowned American composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein, one of the most important figures in the world of 20th century classical music.
A few days after its release, this drama has already become one of the users' favorites. The film was released in 2023, is based on true events and features Bradley Cooper, both in the lead role and in directing.
The film is 129 minutes long and is Cooper's second feature alongside Lady Gaga, who debuted in 2018 with “A Star is Born”. On this occasion he will be accompanied by Carey Mulligan, known for her roles in Pride and Prejudice and The Great Gatsby.
The producers of “Maestro” also include Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese; Cooper wrote the script together with Josh Singer. The plot revolves around the love story between Bernstein and Costa Rican actress Felicia Montealegre, played by Mulligan.
