A mysterious 22-year-old was photographed at a party with Leonardo DiCaprio in St Tropez around the same time as she started using her maiden name after divorcing her husband – whose grandfather was Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s henchman.
can reveal that Maria Beregova has flown to the south of France after splitting from husband Ahmed Masoud Abdelhafid, 30.
The stunning Russian model reverted to her maiden name Beregova during the trip, where she was photographed with Leo, 47, and Tobey Maguire, 47.
Her ex-husband Abdelhafid, who runs a real estate and fashion empire in Monaco, is the grandson of the interior minister and loyal servant of the ruthless despot Gaddafi.
Massoud Abdelhafid has been described as the “right hand man” and “walking encyclopedia” of Libyan dictator Gaddafi.
After Gaddafi was overthrown and killed, Massoud senior fled to Cairo, where he reportedly died of an illness in 2015.
It comes after the Titanic stars split in shock from girlfriend Camila Morrone, 25, after four years of dating.

Beregova posted several stunning pictures aboard the boat in Saint Tropez and showed off her luxury room at Villa Belrose in July.

Beregova strutted a short distance behind the stars as they boarded the luxury boat, flaunting her figure while pulling her hair back into a sleek ponytail.
It is unclear when the divorce with her husband was agreed and if there was an agreement, but it is believed to have been finalized in Monaco, where the couple lived.

She separated from her husband just before the trip, but reverted to her maiden name while on vacation. His grandfather, Massoud Abdelhafid, has been described as Libyan dictator Gaddafi’s “right hand man” and “walking encyclopedia”.
The 47-year-old actor opted for a demure look during the outing, donning a royal blue shirt for the outing, which he paired with dark jeans.
Leonardo seemingly kept a low profile in the celebrity hotspot thanks to a black baseball cap, but was surrounded by a large group of friends when they returned in the early hours.
The Titanic star wore the top open at the neck, revealing a glimpse of his bare chest and simple silver necklace.
Beregova and Di Caprio did not immediately respond when approached by for comment.
