The NFL stops a game more than 10 minutes before the end

The NFL has decided to end the preseason game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers with more than 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter on Saturday.

The league made the decision after “Pats” cornerback Isaiah Bolden was carried on a stretcher from Lambeau Field. The newcomer was down for a long time after coming into contact with a team-mate during a tackle.

The incident came just over seven months after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during a game against the Bengals in Cincinnati.

“We’ve all thought about that,” Patriots cornerback Jalen Mills said after the end of the game was called off.

“It’s the kind of contact that we rarely see in our league and that we hate,” he added.

Luckily for Bolden, he doesn’t appear to be suffering from an injury that is too serious. On Sunday, the New England organization announced that its athlete had been discharged from a Green Bay hospital and would be making the return journey with his teammates.

The 23-year-old was selected by the Pats in the seventh round (245th overall) of the Goodell Circuit’s final draft.
