Everyone in Bollywood was at Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta’s massive birthday party last night – hosted by Dharma boss Karan Johar – and the guest list was appropriately stellar. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal delight CCP photographers; Alia Bhatt looked like a dream, as did Ananya Pandey; Aryan Khan appeared once more, the last of many; and Karan Johar shared a moment with friend turned enemy turned friend Kajol. There are some notable absences – Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are filming at Pathaan in Spain, Kareena Kapoor is on holiday with sister Karisma, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan are also on holiday. However, those who have made it have made the best party faces.
Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif wore mini dresses – Alia in a floral print, Katrina stuck to solid blue.

Ananya Pandey and Jhanvi Kapoor opted for high-octane dresses: Ananya had a sheer corseted dress while Jhanvi had a lot of glitter. Shania Kapoor, who is set to be the new debutante in the Dharma block with the work-in-progress Bedhadak, wore a white pantsuit.
Aryan Khan, who has been seen everywhere lately, appeared with Gauri Khan’s mother.
Kajol posed in a black dress. She was hugged and kissed on the cheek by Karan Johar, who detailed their infamous split years ago in his autobiography.
The Bachchans were represented by Svetlana and Navya Naveli’s daughter Nanda, who were present along with director Zoya Akhtar. Mahip Kapoor (Shanaya’s mother), Bhawana Pandey (Ananya’s mother), Seema Khan and Neelam Soni – the stars of the Dharma film The Fairy Lives of Bollywood Wives – posed together.
Parineeti Chopra, Tara Sutaria, Mrunal Thakur were dressed in their best.
Less impressive was the clothing choices of Sharwari Wag and Nushrrat Bharukcha.
The league of distinguished gentlemen included Vijay Deverakonda, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday’s boyfriend, rumored to be Ishaan Khatter, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani.
Ananya Pandai and Ishaan Khatter may not have been part of the couple, but several others did – Madhuri Dixit and Sriram Nene, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Adar and Natasha Punawalla (Natasha was on vacation with Kareena and Karishma and clearly flew in to the party ) and Raku Preet Singh with boyfriend Jackie Bhagnani.
Karan Johar also posed with modern man Apoorva Mehta.
Everyone obviously had a good time.
