That Pentagon has awarded its cloud and technology infrastructure contract to Amazon, Google, Microsoft Y oraclewith the $9 billion budget split between them.
This decision comes more than a year after the termination of the originally awarded contract Microsoft for $10 billion, which was challenged by Amazon.
The case
In 2019, the Ministry of Defense awarded the contract for the so-called JEDI program Microsoftbut fast Amazon criticized and lamented the decision in court because the assessment “showed clear flaws, errors and unmistakable prejudices”.

The contract with these companies runs until 2028 and enables access to centralized management and distributed control, global accessibility and advanced data analysis with strengthened security.
