The Pentagon will distribute the cloud contract between Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Oracle

That Pentagon has awarded its cloud and technology infrastructure contract to Amazon, Google, Microsoft Y oraclewith the $9 billion budget split between them.

This decision comes more than a year after the termination of the originally awarded contract Microsoft for $10 billion, which was challenged by Amazon.

The case

In 2019, the Ministry of Defense awarded the contract for the so-called JEDI program Microsoftbut fast Amazon criticized and lamented the decision in court because the assessment “showed clear flaws, errors and unmistakable prejudices”.
