The Atlanta Braves, Major League Baseball’s best regular season team, ended their season with a 3-1 loss in Game 4 of their series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night at Citizens Bank Park.
It didn’t take much for the Phillies. Home runs by Trea Turner and Nick Castellanos in the fifth and sixth innings enabled the Philadelphians to advance to the next round.

However, the game started well for the Braves as they scored first thanks to Austin Riley’s grand slam in the first inning. The Atlanta club’s attack was completely silenced and the ball was only put to safety five times in the entire game.
Braves starter Spencer Strider (0-2) struck out seven players but allowed seven hits, while his counterpart Ranger Suarez (1-0) did not. He only suffered three hits.
The Phillies will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National Finals. The portrait in American football has already been known since the Houston Astros eliminated the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, while the Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
