Sarah Harris is reportedly plagued by “survivor's guilt” after she managed to jump the sinking Studio 10 ship a year before it sank.
As Channel 10's breakfast show prepares to air its final episode on Friday, the show's former co-host, 42, feels “terrible” feelings for her ex-colleagues.
An insider said that Angela Bishop, Tristan MacManus, Narelda Jacobs and Daniel Doody are being reassigned to the network and that they have Sarah's “defect” to thank.
“Her defection was truly the nail in the coffin for the show, and through no fault of her own,” the source told New Idea on Monday.
“Sarah also knows full well that even if the show had stayed, given the long decline in ratings, the show probably still would have been axed.”

They went on to say that the project had been “a great lifeline” for the TV host to hold on to as she left Studio 10, but the fight wasn't over yet.
“Sarah knows she has a battle on her hands to win back viewers who have turned away from The Project if she wants to stay on the air,” the insider added.
A Ten spokesman confirmed in November that Studio 10 had officially folded after more than a decade on the air.

Presenters Angela and Tristan admitted it had been a “tough day” in an emotional Instagram video at the time after they were informed of the news at lunchtime.
“It's a tough day for the entire Studio 10 family because we've loved bringing you the show for the last 10 years,” Angela said.
“We are all very proud to be a part of it.” I would like to end with a quote: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

The announcement comes a year after former Studio 10 host Sarah moved to The Project as the show's ratings continued to decline.
In June, Channel 10 tried to boost its popularity by hiring major Instagram influencer Emmylou MacCarthy as a regular.
However, the show has become one of the lowest-rated daytime programs in the history of Australian television, well behind rival programs from Seven, Nine and ABC
The embattled show saw a viewership loss of tens of thousands last year, prompting industry spies to wonder how long it would continue to air.
