Michael Hing is married.
The project’s newest star walked down the aisle with fiancé Humyara Mahbub at a Bengali wedding on Sydney Harbor on Saturday.
The 38-year-old and his bride look gorgeous in traditional attire as they exchanged vows with family and friends by the water’s edge.
Hum wore a Banarasi silk sari with stunning cream embroidery and a bouquet of red and pink flowers, while the groom wore a dhoti kurta.
The couple posed for a series of photos shared on social media. Michael looked absolutely in love as he snuggled up to his lover.

After the ceremony, the two held their reception at a Chinese restaurant, which Michael clearly enjoyed.
Michael’s friend and co-star Nikki Britton attended the wedding and shared the good news on The Sunday Project.
“I rehydrate heavily.” It was so beautiful. I’ve never been to a Bengali wedding. Look at her! “It was just so full of love,” she said on the show this weekend.
“It was so full of people. It was so packed with delicious Chinese food I have an MSG hangover. “Look at this beautiful bride,” she added.

Comedian Michael’s new wife is a Sydney-based illustrator who has been an artist for over a decade.
She is also an author and wrote the Netflix comedy series Why Are You Like This, which aired in 2018.
“I’ve never worked on a project as collaborative and frustrating as a TV show,” she told Liminal magazine.
“It’s crazy to be mad at your friends for disagreeing about whether a joke is funny, but I’ve literally had several emotional breakdowns over it,” Hum continued.

Michael, meanwhile, joined the Australian show The Project late last year.
He left Triple J earlier this year after hosting the radio station’s popular drive show, Hobba and Hing with Lewis Hobba for three years.
Michael is also a former host of the ABC shows Good Game: Pocket Edition and Good Game Well Played.
