He told Radio Times: “It’s amazing how this whole industry came into being, even in a year. There are new tricks in the trade – small pillows – and it’s amazing what can be done with a half-inflated ball.
He explained that the half-inflated object created a barrier between their bodies, elaborating, “If two people are involved in a sex scene, the rule is that there must be three barriers between them, and there are certain actions where a half-inflated netball can be allowed to move without being physically connections.
The second season of Bridgerton premieres on Netflix on Friday, March 25.

Meanwhile, Jonathan recently said he felt pressured to hide his sexuality in order to pursue his career after being told that a publicly gay actor would compete for roles.
The star came out in 2018, two years before she rose to prominence in Bridgerton.
But he admitted he had reservations about public disclosure after discussing the issue with fellow actors and casting directors about the difficulties of being openly gay in the television and film industry.
Chat: Jonathan revealed the tricks of trading these obscene scenes for the Radio Times in their latest edition.
In the latest issue of GQ Hype, the Oxfordshire native recalled his first reaction after a friend told him about his own experience while auditioning for roles.
“At the time, he was told, ‘There are two things we don’t want to know: are you an alcoholic or are you gay,'” he told the publication.
“It is enough for one of those people in such a position to say this, and it will be reflected. So yes, of course, that’s what I thought. Of course, I thought that in order to be happy, I need to be honest.”
He eventually made the decision to speak publicly about his sexuality after becoming frustrated with the restrictions that a closed public image placed on his private life.
He said, “I got to the point where I thought, ‘To hell with that.’ I’d rather hold my boyfriend’s hand in public or be able to post my face picture on Tinder and not worry about it as much as getting a role.”
