A meeting that took place this Saturday (22), the day Marília Mendonça would have turned 28, sparked a wave of criticism on the internet. Her mother, Dona Ruth, was holding the singer’s threeyearold son, Léo, when they met the compatriot’s lookalike.
The boy, who lost his mother in a plane crash in 2021, was visibly confused and looked suspiciously at Marília’s doppelganger several times, which left netizens concerned. In the social networks, the profiles criticized the doppelganger and accused the girl of “wanting to show up”. The singer’s mother was also blown up and called irresponsible for allowing the meeting.
“Poor boy, must have been confused enough by the loss of his mother, now he has to deal with a double? I hope the grandmother explained it well, otherwise he needs a psychologist before the age of five,” wrote one profile.
