José Luis Rodríguez, also known as “The Cougar‘, is a Venezuelan singer, actor, businessman and record producer. Born in Caracas, he is the last of 11 children and his father died when he was just 6 years old. His mother was a Democratic Action Party activist, so during the dictatorship of Marcos Pérez, Jiménez decided to go into exile in Guayaquil, Ecuador with his two minor children.
