For the Filming for the remake of soap opera Renascer begins next month and three more cast names have been announced. It is already known who will play Teodoro, the rival of José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) in the character’s adult phase, and Venâncio. A third actor is also confirmed, although his role has not yet been announced. Rodrigo Simas, on the other hand, was eventually excluded from the cast and denied rumors that he had given up the role of José Venâncio.
In the second version of the work by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, adapted by his grandson Bruno Luperi, Vladimir Brichta he was chosen as Teodoro (Herson Capri 1993); Fabio Lago will take on the role of Cacá Carvalho 30 years ago: Venâncio. Already Matheus Nachtergaele completes the trio, says the “Play” column of the newspaper “O Globo” this Monday (18).
Names like Mel Maia and Iza were left out of the new version of Renascer for various reasons. On the other hand, the story set in Bahia already has its Maria Santa (an actress from the cast of “Travessia”), its Mariana (an artist from “Mar do Sertão” who secured the role after several tests) and the new Buba ( who suits a transsexual).
Soap opera “Renascer”: Who are Teodoro and Venâncio?
In the rural soap opera, Teodoro repeats Belarmino’s steps and is unusually jealous of José Inocêncio. The farmer is married to Dona Patroa and Sandra’s father. The marriage does not prevent him from falling in love with Joaninha, the wife of the eccentric Sebastião/Tião Galinha, and Eliana, who in turn becomes involved with João Pedro, one of Inocêncio’s four children.
It is worth remembering that Mariana will be Eliana’s rival, having an affair not only with João Pedro, but also with Inocêncio himself, causing a greater rift in the relationship between son and father, who, meanwhile, has the youngest son, Maria Santa , blames birth for his wife’s death.
And Venâncio not to be confused with José Venâncio is Quitéria’s husband. The relationship gave birth to Maria Santa, who, to her father’s horror, becomes involved with Inocêncio. To his great delight, Venâncio is still the head of the ox at celebrations.
