The children of rich Russian oligarchs and the country’s elite demand peace in Ukraine and Vladimir Putin to stop the bloodshed.
Young people are using their feeds and statuses on social media as influential people to try to stop more carnage from unfolding.
They are among them Roman Abramovichdaughter of the Kremlin, child of a Kremlin spokesman and even daughter of Putin’s political mentor.
The comments show how Russia’s next generation views the ongoing conflict.
This also suggests some difference between the Putin government and the younger people living in the country.

Ksenia Sobchak, a socialist and former Russian presidential candidate, spearheaded the conviction and called for peace.

Maria Yumasheva, daughter of government adviser Valentin Yumashev, also showed her support for Ukraine.
Her father was crucial in helping Putin come to power after being one of Boris Yeltsin’s most trusted aides.
He then married Mr Yeltsin’s daughter Tatiana, and when the former president asked him what he thought of Putin, he told him he thought he was an “excellent candidate”. I think you should think about it.
But 19-year-old Yumashev has her own views on the Russian president’s actions in Ukraine.

Her simple image of the Ukrainian flag leaves no doubt as to whether Russian forces should invade it.
An image of a broken heart and the phrase of two words “no war” were enough for her followers to understand her thoughts.
At the top of her Instagram show, which includes a number of glamorous images, she has a photo of the country’s flag.
Next to it, she simply wrote “No War.”
Sofia Abramovich, whose father is the now-sold owner of Chelsea football club Roman Abramovich, echoed the views.
She told her 50,000 followers that “the biggest and most successful lie in the Kremlin’s propaganda is that most Russians are with Putin.”
And 24-year-old Elizaveta Peskova, daughter of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, posted “No to War” on Instagram.
He disappeared less than an hour later without explanation.
