The Rock’s Gold Coast-style luxury resort-style mega-mansion hits the market after last selling for $12 million three years ago
A luxurious Queensland mansion featured in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s 2015 Hollywood disaster film San Andreas has hit the market.
Located in Broadbeach Waters on the Gold Coast, this sprawling resort-style property features five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
No price was given for the property, but a similar house rented by The Rock on the nearby island of Capri during filming of the film in 2014 sold for a staggering $24 million.
The massive 3,296-square-foot two-story home was used as a filming location for several scenes in San Andreas and last went under the hammer in 2020 for $12.5 million, according to The Courier Mail.
The lavish estate called “Te Moana” is located on the banks of the Main River and is said to be one of the largest houses on the Gold Coast.

There’s also a huge gourmet kitchen with a butler’s pantry and a mix of dining areas to suit every mood.
Meanwhile, the island of Capri is known for its sky-high real estate, with a $27 million mansion sale setting the record for Surfers Paradise in 2020.

Johnson reportedly paid $20,000 a week to rent a mansion in the coveted suburb while he filmed the disaster film San Andreas at nearby Gold Coast studios.
At the time, Johnson was named Forbes magazine’s highest-grossing actor of 2013.
Between Fast & Furious 6, Pain & Gain, GI Joe: Retaliation and Snitch, his films grossed over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office in 2013.
The super fit actor’s recent films include Black Adam and DC League of Super Pets.
