And the Rolling Stones put on a typically energetic performance as they took the stage at the Johan Cruijff Arena on Thursday night in Amsterdam.
It comes after the band were due to perform in the Dutch capital last month, with the show being postponed when singer Mick Jagger tested positive for Covid-19.

But when the 78-year-old took the stage alongside bandmates Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, he appeared in high spirits for the evening.
Mick donned a gold chain print bomber jacket with a turquoise stripe down the arm paired with black jeans.
Giving the show his best shot, the singer stormed the stage – pointing at the audience while showing off a slew of animated facial expressions and breaking out some dance moves.

Keith gave the crowd a smile and added a pop of color with an orange leather jacket and blue beanie, while donning round-frame sunglasses.
Mick didn’t hold back as he showed the show was worth the wait and gave the audience a performance to remember.

The rocker insisted he “feels a lot better” and thanked his fans for their well wishes.
Taking to Instagram, Mick said: “Thank you for your well wishes and messages over the past few days.
“I’m feeling much better and can’t wait to get back on stage next week! The Amsterdam date has been postponed to July 7th and we will have news about the new Bern date as soon as possible.

It came after rockers The Sympathy For The Devil were forced to postpone their Amsterdam concert at the Johan Cruijff Arena last week, hours before it was due to start after the legendary frontman fell ill with coronavirus.
Then the band announced that they would no longer play at the Wankdorf Stadium in Switzerland as planned.
In an update on social media, they said: “The Rolling Stones deeply regret this postponement, but the safety of audiences, fellow musicians and touring crew must be a priority.”
