Roxane Bruneau has never seen a concert at the Videotron Center or the Bell Centre. The 32-year-old singer, songwriter and singer will be appearing in these two amphitheaters over the next few days.
She will wrap up her Acrophobia tour with performances at the Videotron Center on Friday night and the Bell Center on April 14.
“I don’t know what a show in a big amphitheater looks like. That’s okay because I couldn’t really copy what was already done. I’m doing this in beautiful naivety,” she dropped a few feet from the stage, which is being edited at the Videotron Center.
Roxane Bruneau states that these two shows are different from the tour.
“There are more stunts and they are being improved. People who have come to me in the last two years will not have the same spectacle,” she said in an interview.
These concerts in large amphitheaters prove that the audience is still there.
“That makes me very happy. I’m really thankful. The world has worked hard with me for seven years to get me there and people will see the fruits of their labor. I feel like my audience is like my mum and dad who are proud of me for winning a soccer trophy. My community is caring and I feel good about them. I don’t have the sanity to experience much hate,” she noted.
A few hours from her performance at the Videotron Center, Roxane Bruneau is feeling good and weirdly zen.
“My brain is in denial. I do the staging and sign the picture. It’s good that I’m in this state. I can’t freak out the singer now. What could happen,” she said.

At the start of her tour, Roxane Bruneau was far from sure that she would complete it. She revealed a few days ago in a social media post that she doesn’t think she can inflict this form of torment on herself for two years. She arrived.
“I really like to take more care of my mental and physical health. I sought help because I don’t think I could have survived all that fear,” she noted.
She admits that she’s not quite comfortable on the boards yet.
“I don’t know if one day I’ll be able to be 100% comfortable. Stress and anxiety are never far away, but this is where I allow myself to have fun,” she added.
The singer behind the songs In my way, Des p’tits bout de toi and Aime-moi encore cannot explain the success she has known.
“We would have to go door to door and ask people. I think the world recognizes itself in my words. I’m also present on the internet and people follow me daily. There’s a nice connectivity,” she said.
After these two shows, Roxane Bruneau will embark on a festival tour and also work on her third work.
