The Buckeyes’ newest targets include a five-star quarterback signed to another school and a top 150 cornerback prospect. OSU has also made an offer to a fast-rising safety prospect in the Class of 2026. We’ll delve into each one below.
Julian Sayin
Ohio State has begun expanding its quarterback target board for the Class of 2024. And with five-star signal caller Dylan Raiola stepping down in December, the Buckeyes have entered a race to flip another five-star quarterback from a powerhouse program in 2024.

The Buckeyes offered five-star California prospect Julian Sayin on Tuesday, making him the fifth quarterback prospect OSU has offered in 2024 (counting Raiola). According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Sayin, a commit from Alabama, is the 15th player and second-best quarterback behind Raiola in the 2024 cycle. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound project committed to the Crimson Tide on Nov. 2 and has around 25 Division I offerings.
In 12 games for Carlsbad High School (Carlsbad, Calif.), Sayin completed 163 of 245 passes (65 percent completion rate) for 2,708 yards with 27 touchdowns for four interceptions. He rushed for 154 yards on the ground for 26 carries and three touchdowns.
Other quarterback targets for OSU in the 2024 class so far include Jadyn Davis and Adrian Posse.
Zabien Braun
Ohio State has entered the race for Mater Dei standout four-star cornerback Zabien Brown after accepting his OSU bid on Tuesday.

Brown is the 139th best player and 14th cornerback in the 2024 cycle and has received 13 Division I offers. Other schools that have offered the 6-foot, 180-pound project include Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Penn State, UCLA, UNLV, and USC.
In 11 games for Mater Dei (Santa Ana, California) in 2022, Brown accumulated 32 tackles (one by loss), three interceptions, five pass deflections, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
Judge Fitzpatrick
Justice Fitzpatrick became only the fourth prospect Ohio State has offered in the entire Class of 2026; The second defensive prospect and first safety after receiving his offer from Perry Eliano on Wednesday.

The 6-foot, 165-pound project has bids from four other Division I schools, including Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana and Miami.
Fitzpatrick only played in two games for St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) last season but impressed with three tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Football genes definitely run in the Fitzpatrick family, as Justice is the younger brother of former Alabama star and current Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Daniel Calhoun ranks OSU in his top 10
A top 60 offensive tackle prospect in the 2024 class is beginning to cut back on his recruiting. Four-star Georgia nominee Daniel Calhoun released a top 10 Tuesday consisting of Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, Georgia and LSU.
