A Russian “madman” reportedly beheaded a prostitute and then killed a second who taunted him because he couldn't perform in bed during a visit to “relieve the stress from the first murder.”
According to Russian news agency Shot, jailed Alexei Varakin, 37, is said to have killed two escorts in a frenzy after he was “unable to have sexual intercourse with them”, which “drove him mad”. He reportedly appeared in court after the bodies of the two companions were discovered.
The decapitated remains of 40-year-old Olga Vorobyova were found near a hotel where they allegedly met in Moscow's Izmailovo district. Vlada Skitskaya, 25, was said to have been killed a day later in her rented apartment in Moscow's business district.
After visiting Skitskaya after the first murder to “relieve stress” and being mocked by her for his sexual inadequacy, he then allegedly lunged at the 25-year-old with a knife, with Skitskaya fighting back and injuring her attacker, it's called shooting.
A terrified Skitskaya reportedly managed to call a friend during the attack and say that a client had tried to kill her.

Their cries for help were also heard by neighbors.
The police were called, but by the time officers arrived, the woman had already died from knife wounds.
There were reportedly signs of a beheading attempt.
The suspect had recently been released from prison after being imprisoned for the murder of two sex workers in 2010.
Shot identified the suspect as Alexey Varakin from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, adding that Ms. Vorobyova “had taken some drugs and refused to have sex with him, so he cut off her head and ran away.”
Moscow prosecutors confirmed on Sunday that they were investigating the recent murder of two women, without giving details other than to say that a 25-year-old woman suffered knife wounds during an argument in an apartment building in western Moscow.

Varakin was subsequently seen in a court video in which he was remanded in custody for two months.
He reportedly confessed in court to the two most recent murders.
The suspect was “cured” after being admitted to a psychiatric hospital following the murders of two sex workers in 2010, a court was told.
