“Russia has been and remains a reliable and responsible gas supplier. We want to continue to supply the Turkish economy with this cheap, but highly efficient and ecological fuel.

“In addition, we are ready to export gas through Turkey to consumers in third countries if our partners are interested,” the Russian president said.

In addition, he announced that Moscow and Ankara will create a joint working group to build a gas distribution center on Turkish territory and agree on the legal framework for its operation.

Putin also highlighted the trend in payments in local currencies between the two countries, while the share of settlements in dollars and euros is decreasing.
