Video of a Russian soldier being captured by Ukrainian forces with the help of a drone has been re-released by the Ukrainian Ambassador Alexander Scherba, head of strategic communications at the Kiev Foreign Minister. According to Ukrainian propaganda channels, the images refer to an incident that took place yesterday, May 9, in Bakhmut, where a Russian soldier was the only survivor among several corps of comrades who stayed behind in the trenches. Then a drone approaches him with a message to the soldier, who has meanwhile made a sign that he wants to surrender: “Follow the drone,” the sheet reads. The Russian soldier is apparently scared, afraid of going outside to be killed. However, he makes his way and follows the small remote-controlled drone along the trenches until, according to Ukrainian sources, he arrives safely in the care of the Kiev army.
