According to Sam Mobile, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro would revive the rotating crown. Samsung would also consider offering two sizes of the Galaxy Watch Pro.

If Samsung tends to evolve its smartphones in small increments from one generation to the next, the Korean company is clearly not closed to major design changes when it comes to its connected watches. We’ve seen this, for example, in the transition from the Galaxy Watch 4 to the Galaxy Watch 5, with the introduction of a single Pro model and the disappearance of the rotating crown.
When a manufacturer manages to remove a design element, we’re usually used to not seeing it that quickly. Fans of the Galaxy Watch’s rotating crown had no doubt done their sadness. But according to Sam Mobile, who cites a Korean leaker, Super Roader, with a good background on previous leaks, the Suwon giant would reconsider its decision once the Galaxy Watch 6 comes out.
The Pro model would become more classic
A realm name change is never trivial. When the first rumors began to circulate that the second Galaxy Watch would be called Pro instead of Classic, it was clear to many that this new model would take the crown away. And yet the next Galaxy Watch 6 Pro would become more or less a classic not bearing the name as it is it that would inherit the design element again.
For its part, the Galaxy Watch 6 would retain the tactile crown, which visually brightens the look of the watch but doesn’t offer the same level of control. For its part, the physically rotating crown is often seen as more elegant, as it allows a connected watch to look like its analog counterparts. An item that goes very well with a more traditional bracelet and needle dial, for example.
A new pro size
Another novelty in the future, having sold a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in a single size of 45mm, Samsung would go with two sizes of the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro without further details. Enough to hope to access the flagship of the range without having to wear a gigantic watch on your wrist.
Generally, the Galaxy Watch is announced during the Galaxy Unpacked in August along with the latest leaflets from the manufacturer. The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro is therefore expected to be released in August 2023 at the same time as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.
