“I growled at him once and said, ‘Stop being Batman.’ He was a little too whispery,” Gaiman said. Sturridge countered, speaking of the author’s honesty: “It was literally my first day! But it was incredibly helpful.”

The protagonist also recalled another piece of advice from the author for interpreting Sonho: “I remember you telling me that everything he says has to sound absolutely to say. That was very helpful.”

The Sandman follows Dream (Sturridge), a mystical entity that rules the space known as Dreaming.

Imprisoned after a ritual aimed at arresting Tod, his sister, he is imprisoned for 70 years until he finally manages to break free and embarks on a journey to return to dreaming and recover his three tools : a bag full of sand, a ruby ​​and a helmet.

The Sandman release date has not yet been announced by Netflix.
