It's no secret that Ozempic has become a blockbuster weight loss drug in Hollywood over the past year.

But not all celebrities have turned to medication to change their bodies. Many cite the simple technique of walking as the secret to their recent weight loss regimens.

This week, Kelly Clarkson hit back at rumors that her recent weight loss was due to Ozempic, telling People magazine that she's slimmed down her figure by walking more and changing her diet.

The “Since U Been Gone” singer, 41, revealed that she decided to walk everywhere in her new home of New York City, which helped her get the exercise she needed.

Before living in Manhattan, she lived in Los Angeles, where she drove everywhere and limited her daily steps.

Walking is also a popular weight loss method among Australian celebrities.

Speaking to The Imperfects podcast in March, the 50-year-old said walking changed her life for the better.

“I was 45 and I thought, 'I guess I'm about to die,'” she said.

“Am I happy with this? Am I happy with who I am with other people, am I happy with who I am for myself? What do I want to change?'

She revealed that “moderate walking” was actually a key component to her weight loss, helping her shed “unnecessary body fat.”

“I never really looked at wellness from all angles,” she said of her transformation.

“But I turned 40 and thought about freezing my eggs, and the experts told me the healthier I was, the better the process could go.”
