Disney+ has released an exciting new trailer for its new documentary series Choir, set to arrive on the streaming giant on January 31st.
The six-part program traces the journey of a group of children who are part of the renowned Detroit Youth Choir (DYC) as they prepare for a life-changing performance.
Filmed five years after the DYC rose to fame on America's Got Talent, the series chronicles a series of new challenges the choir faces.
“We are the outsiders who want to prove what we can do,” explains DYC director Armond White in the preview.
“Come hell or high water, I want to take these kids to the next big stage.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, choir members are seen showing off their best dance moves.
The preview also hints that the series will focus on 50 new recruits who must be ready to take on the DYC's next big show at New York's prestigious Carnegie Hall.
Fans can also look forward to learning more about the Detroit Youth Choir's inspirational leader and artistic director, Anthony White.

It was White who led the DYC to its famous appearance on America's Got Talent in 2019, as the choir danced and rapped their way through a high-energy version of the 2013 Macklemore and Ryan Lewis hit Can't Hold Us.
The DYC ended their season on America's Got Talent in second place.
“Some of them have a bad home situation or they could be on the streets,” White said after the DYC won his audition on America's Got Talent.
“There is violence. We give them something positive to be a part of.”
“Choir” is directed by award-winning filmmaker Rudy Valdez and produced by Imagine Documentaries and Blumhouse Television.
