The son of Craig Ross Jr. – the man arrested Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping 9-year-old Charlotte Sena in New York – profanely disowned his father and said he “wouldn’t care” if he dropped dead.
Last night, Sena was found in a trailer where Craig Ross Jr., 47, lived. He left his DNA on a ransom note that he gave to Charlotte’s parents on Monday morning. He is now in custody on first-degree kidnapping charges.
Ross’ adult son Joshua was confronted at the kidnapper’s home in upstate New York – where Joshua reportedly lives – and when confronted by reporters he appeared completely done with his father.
“We don’t want anything to do with him,” Joshua Ross said. “I couldn’t give a shit if the guy dropped dead tomorrow.”
“I couldn’t give a shit, I couldn’t care less.” He’s disgusting. He’s disgusting! He should die, I don’t care at all.’

Ross Jr. recently moved into the trailer where missing Charlotte Sena was found because he was suffering from multiple sclerosis, can reveal.
The 47-year-old reportedly suffered so badly from the illness that he had difficulty moving around the property in Porters Corner, New York, and had fallen behind on his payments.
He was charged with kidnapping after the 9-year-old disappeared on a bicycle while on a family camping trip in Moreau Lake State Park in upstate New York.
Hulking Ross was arraigned in Wilton Town Court in the early hours of Tuesday and is being held without bail at the Saratoga County Jail in Ballston Spa.
Neighbors told that the 6-foot, 250-pound father of three barely spoke and could often be seen working in his garden.
He moved into the trailer at the back of his mother’s property about a month ago after his debilitating condition worsened.
Ross, who appeared disheveled in a mugshot released by New York State Police, was described as a “hermit” who spent half the week caring for his 11-year-old daughter in his $180,000 three-bedroom home.

Charlotte was found “alive and safe” on Monday – two days after she was abducted from Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort. After she was found, she was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital
can reveal that Ross reportedly suffered from MS and had only moved into the caravan four weeks ago because his condition had worsened
Federal agents and state troopers stormed the home, located less than two miles from Charlotte’s family compound, on Monday evening.
State troopers remained on scene Tuesday, using police tape to block access to the building and two other buildings.
A neighbor said, “It’s the best case scenario that she was found.” Last night I heard sirens and the entire street was covered with undercover cars and state troopers and police.
“I asked if I should be worried and the police asked me to look at photos and I told them yes, that’s Craig, he owns the house and his sons live there now.”
“They’re in their 20s, I saw them briefly, but they keep to themselves.” My kids ride their bikes to his mailbox and that’s it.
“He lived quite a withdrawn life, he moved in shortly after us. “He built a driveway earlier this year and never quite finished it,” the neighbor added.
“This was his home until he had to move back into the trailer with his mother about four weeks ago because his MS got so bad.”
Locals confirmed they were asked by police to identify images of Ross and confirmed he lived at the property with his two sons.
They added that his daughter spent a lot of time at his home before the incident and they never expected that the kidnapping could be linked to “the silent neighbor.”
“Charlotte is two miles away and in this rural area he is close to her,” another neighbor said. “All of this shocked me.”
“His daughter spent a lot of time here, she was half here and half with her mother.” Until recently, it was just him alone when his sons moved in.
“The police said they planned to question him all night. He owns three houses in his name, so we don’t know if he has money problems or something similar.
“It’s the sticks here. If you don’t want your relatives in the house, put them back.”

Ross’ house is an active crime scene following his arrest for Charlotte’s kidnapping
Charlotte was found Monday evening in the white trailer in the backyard of Craig Ross Jr.’s mother’s home in Milton, New York
Ross was captured by officers after he left a ransom note in the mailbox of the Sena family home in Greenfield at 4:20 a.m. Monday.
The police had swapped shifts and missed the opportunity to catch the suspected kidnapper who made the message.
The fingerprints on the note matched a 1999 driving under the influence (DUI) charge against Ross in Saratoga, during which police responded to “several properties” he was associated with.
Investigators remain at the scene on Barrett Road in Milton, where Charlotte was cowering in a closet in Ross’ trailer.
The building is behind his mother’s property. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul confirmed at a news conference that his elderly mother, Jean, was home at the time of the raid.
Ross, who is not a registered sex offender, resisted arrest when officers visited his property but was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m.
Charlotte was taken to Albany Medical Center and described as being in “good health” before being reunited with her parents.
A motive for the crime is unclear as investigators continue to investigate any connections between Charlotte’s family and Ross.
Police issued an Amber Alert in the case on Sunday, nearly 24 hours after Charlotte was reported missing by her family.
She was found about 13 miles south of her family home.

Around 4 a.m. on Monday, someone dropped a ransom note into the mailbox of Charlotte’s parents’ house (see picture). It contained traces of Ross Jr.’s DNA
The multi-agency search spanned 46 miles and included 400 searchers and dozens of federal, state and local agencies on site.
Charlotte was traveling alone on Loop A of Moreau Lake State Park in New York, near Saratoga Springs, when she disappeared at 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
She had been cycling with friends and relatives, but said she wanted to do “one last lap” alone before returning to camp.
Her parents called authorities after spotting her bike on the trail at 6:47 p.m. Officers searched the 6,250-acre park and found no trace of her.
Hochul said Monday evening: “We are overjoyed with the news that Charlotte Sena has been found safely this evening after an intensive, day-long search.” Our hearts go out to her family as they welcome her home.
“Thank you to the New York State Police, New York Park Police and everyone who worked so tirelessly to find Charlotte.”
“Thanks to their efforts, Charlotte will be able to return home safely to her family.”
An emotional neighbor described the moment she saw Charlotte being rescued from Ross’ trailer, telling the little girl was “everyone’s child” when she went missing.
Charlotte’s relieved family held an impromptu press conference and thanked people for their help in finding the little girl
Erica said she had an “asleep body experience” when she saw the little girl’s face pass her window as she was carried into the back of an ambulance by SWAT team members.
“She was everyone’s child, everyone here was looking for her,” she said. “We didn’t hear anything, we had no idea she was in the RV next door.”
“I completely lost my mind when we saw her being put in the back of the ambulance. She seemed fine, but I just wanted to hold her until her mother got there. She was covered with a blanket and taken away.
“There were at least 30 officers in camouflage clothing and with weapons. They had lightning strikes and broke into the RV at the back of the house at 6:23 p.m.”
Her husband Michael added that Ross had covered the trailer’s windows several months before Charlotte’s disappearance.
He said: “I grew up next to Craig and those kids were never allowed in the house. “His mother was drunk and would lock them out.
“We would take care of him, feed him and clean his wounds if he got beaten up.” I was surprised that he moved back in with her because he hated her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she just ignored what was going on in her backyard.
“We always got bad vibes from the family, but never anything like this.” The fact that he put the tarp over the RV windows makes me think he might have planned this.
“There were so many people coming in and out of the house that the police are definitely looking or seem to be checking to see if anyone else was involved.”
Michael says police questioned him about the number of vehicles on the property and the occupants of the small home to determine who abducted the young girl.
The couple had no idea that Charlotte had been trapped in the trailer next to their house for at least a day.
“We didn’t hear or see anything,” Erica added. “It’s horrible to think that she could have been screaming in there and we had no idea.”
“The officers were so professional and you could hear the sigh of relief when they knew they had her.” They clapped and cheered. It was amazing to see and hear.’
