Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo gave the word “trophy” a different meaning in golf by bringing his own trophy, a certain Stanley Trophy, to the grass court on Monday.
Pietrangelo chose Boone Valley Golf Club, Missouri for his second one-on-one day of the coveted Silver Bowl following his unforgettable 2019 triumph with the St. Louis Blues.

The 33-year-old veteran took the opportunity to practice his short game on the lush greens of Augusta Platz with the Cup by his side.
Her triplets and her youngest daughter also ate breakfast from the trophy and ended the day in the restaurant.
“Anyone who’s won it a second time is probably going to tell you the same thing, it’s a different feeling,” he told the National Hockey League’s website. The kids are a bit older so it’s nice for me because now they understand what it means.
This victory is of particular importance for his family, as Pietrangelo is considering retiring from his career and going to the bedside of his daughter Evelyn, who is suffering from encephalitis, at the end of 2022. Thankfully, the little girl recovered quickly and was able to celebrate it with her dad on the ice a month ago.
Also, the Knights backer believes he can still win the trophy in Vegas.
“I think we have a chance to win at least one more,” he said confidently. We are not finished yet. We haven’t changed our team either. We have a great group. It’s a great place to play.”
Despite missing almost a month in the regular season, Pietrangelo still had a career-high 54 points. In the playoffs, he picked up 10 points in 21 games.
