The Dallas Stars dominated the Minnesota Wild 7-2 on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.
The Texas club scored the first three goals of the duel and the rivals were never able to get back into the game. Nils Lundkvist, Matt Duchene, Roope Hintz, Joe Pavelski, Jason Robertson, Tyler Seguin and Sam Steel were the winners' scorers. Defender Esa Lindell stood out with three assists.

It was the Wild's sixth loss in seven games. Their most recent victory dates back to last Saturday, when goalkeeper Marc-André Fleury tied with Patrick Roy for second place in National League history for wins. He earned his 551st career win by defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets 4 to 3.
It was Jesper Wallstedt who took the lead against the Stars. The 21-year-old Swede stopped 27 of his opponents' 34 shots. Many expect Fleury to try to overtake Roy on Friday when the Wild return home to face the Philadelphia Flyers.
