BY Alejandro Feregrino-. When Paul Stanley saw his father Paco Stanley alive for the last time a few days before he was murdered, the two had a conversation that the young driver now sees as a farewell.

It was a week before his assassination, which took place on June 7, 1999, outside the “El Charco de las Ranas” taco shop. Paco, Paul and Mónica Durruti – Paul’s mother – met for dinner and the conversation continued as usual until Paco suddenly burst into tears.

“We went to eat at a restaurant that we really liked (…) He had a few drinks and suddenly my boss started crying out of nowhere, but just like that.”

“He told me, ‘One day I have to go, but I want you to be strong tomorrow, take care of your mother and that I will leave you something and I want you to double and multiply that.’ “Something,” he recalled. Paul during a conversation on the reality show La Casa de los Famosos, which he is currently a part of.

Paco ended the conversation very emotionally. After insisting that she looked after her mother and never left her alone, she told her, “‘This tear is for you,’ and she smears it here on my cheek.”

Paul had this conversation with the presenter Sofía Rivera Torres, who also takes part in “La Casa de los Famosos”. After his account, she asked him if he thought his father deliberately said goodbye to him.

“I think so, I think he said goodbye. I don’t know if he knew what kind of fart, but my boss was very weird, so sad.”

“I had to be strong”

Due to his imprisonment in the “Celebrity Home,” Paul has stayed away from the media furor generated by the documentary about his father’s murder, although he has spoken to his colleagues about how he lived and how this traumatic event affected him had your life

In another conversation with actress Raquel Bigorra, Paul admitted that he went through a long period of depression after his father’s murder. “After my father’s death, the depression also started, of course I didn’t understand it because a 14-year-old boy doesn’t understand the grieving process,” he recalls.

Adding to the depression was irrational fear, the fear of leaving home and not knowing if he would return, something he was able to overcome with therapy but also thanks to his work.

“I think the most healing thing that has happened to me so far besides my therapy is my work because with ‘5,4,3,2’ I forget everything I’ve been through, it’s cathartic.”
