Apple may offer iPhone 14 buyers a whole new color to choose from.
According to some reports, Apple may be in the process of adding a striking new color option to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus range.
Apple has been known to add new colors mid-cycle, and that might just be the plan this time. In 2022, Apple added an alpine green color to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max lines, while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini received new green options.

Now, a Weibo post shared by MacOtakara claims Apple is working on a new yellow color for a spring release. However, it is unclear if this Weibo source has a track record.
However, the rumored new color gets more interesting if you look at another report from MacRumors. The outlet says it has been informed by multiple sources that Apple plans to brief the press on something next week – although there are no details yet on what that might be. It’s possible this is the yellow iPhone, as Apple refreshed the colors of the iPhone 13 range in March last year.
When Apple launches a new yellow color, it’s the first time we’ll see that option since the iPhone 11 back in 2019. Of course, the most famous of the yellow iPhones is the iPhone XR. It’s worth noting that we don’t know what kind of yellow Apple has planned this time, meaning it could be a more muted hue or something much more vibrant.
With a new iPhone color in the works, we might also see new cases and other accessories arriving at the same time, but we’ll find out more next week anyway. Either the new product rumor is about a different iPhone color or something else entirely.
