More than a million people have lost power in different states of the United States
Register a large number of states in the United States temperatures below zero As the great freezing storm known as cyclone pumpleaving millions of homes without power and thousands of travelers stranded outside the doors for the Christmas holidays.

Most of the blackouts were concentrated in the Northeastern region of the United States, which includes states like New York, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut. 
Specifically, 534,000 people have suffered power outages in the New England region, which includes states such as Maine (250,000), New Hampshire (100,000), Massachusetts (68,000) and Connecticut (50,000).

In Denver, Colorado, Thursday was the second coldest day since records began, with an average temperature of 26 degrees below zero.
The United States National Weather Service (NWS, for its English acronym) reported a major winter storm underway that will bring heavy snowfall and winds to the country.
