After just two seasons, romance fans are addicted to The Summer I Became Pretty, Prime Video's teen series. A beautiful fiction about the emotions of youth, adapted from a trilogy of novels by Jenny Han, the author whose other works have been brought to the screen with Netflix's To All the Boys I Have Loved films. After season 2, which will air in summer 2023, fans are now waiting for the sequel, season 3 of The Summer I Became Pretty, ordered by Prime Video. The Summer I Got Pretty Season 3: Will Belly end up with Conrad or Jeremiah?
At the end of the second season of The Summer I Became Pretty, Belly finally chose Jeremiah after having a relationship with Conrad that was then broken by their breakup. The end of the love triangle? Logically, the third season of “The Summer I Got Pretty” should follow the third volume of Jenny Hans’ novels. In a previous interview with People, the actors confirmed that the third season of The Summer I Got Pretty would stay as faithful to the third novel as possible. “We could go in so many directions,” Lola Tung explained. “The novel offers a solid plan, we were lucky with the first two seasons and having Jenny on set was incredible.” The author is indeed very committed to the series based on her works. She also made appearances in both seasons. Jenny Han also said she “came to the series with an open mind” and is willing to explore new stories, even as she also wants to satisfy the many fans of her novels.
